Indaba Africa – A center for Africans in the diaspora

Indaba Africa was created as a public center for discussions, research, films and cultural events led by persons who are African, either by birth or at heart (including those who have lived, and worked in Africa or simply feel a deep connection with Africans or the continent).

The organization seek to represent a diverse group of Africanists in a variety of fields—academics, journalists, reporters, lawyers, the NGO community, and the U.N., writers, actors, students, social entrepreneurs, business people and radio hosts. There are no age and gender restrictions.

It’s mission states: The Indaba Africa Center will be a clearinghouse for news and information from the Continent covering a wide range of views from the grassroots to top-level officials on politics, economics, cultural initiatives, social justice and human rights.
