A head-on collision involving two passenger buses in southern Ghana early Thursday killed twenty-two passengers. The accident occurred around 3.00 a.m. near Kumasi, Ghana’s second largest city, some 270 km from Accra. The injured victims have been admitted to a hospital in Kumasi.
