Two Bombs Defused At Bayero University In Kano

Two locally made explosives planted on the premises of Bayero University in Kano and discovered by university security officials and defused by the police.

A police source revealed that the bombs were found hidden at the faculty of law and faculty of sciences respectively earlier today by vigilant university safety officials. The source also revealed that this would be the fourth time locally made bombs concealed to create maximum casualty is found and defused in the city of Kano.

Police spokesperson in the state, ASP Musa Majia, told Saharareporters by telephone that the bombs have been defused by the special anti- bomb squad of the state’s police command.
