Pastor Chris Okotie, the Pastor of Household of God on Sunday (24th June, 2012) announced the break-up in his marriage of four years to his second wife, Stephanie Henshaw. He made the announcement in church a few hours ago after the last service.
The bad news which enveloped the Household of God Church, Oregun, Lagos stunned members as they stood still and speechless for seconds after he dropped the bombshell shortly to the close of Sunday service few hours ago.
Pastor Chris and Stephanie Henshaw got married in August 2008.
Makin the announcement, he said: “Stephanie and I are no longer married. We have separated. You can see she’s not in church today. It’s due to irreconcilable differences and you should please respect our wishes at this time because there is no going back.

what could be tha cause of the brake up? Chris okotie is a ‘man of God’. To be on the safe side, he should tell the people and his fellowere what his secound wife did to him, because according to the bible he preaches, it is only on the ground of aldultry the divorce is guaranteed. Again, where is his first wife?

a christian can only remarry if he find is wife in adulatry, he can divource her and not dat he will remarry untill dat woman die dat is when he can marry another person.

Well, no one can fight a spiritual battle carnally neither can one run the race with physical strength. I advice that pastor goes back to calvary for God’s mercy and ask for His leading spirit. “God dislikes divorce” Polygamy is equally a sin. Our single objective should be to get to heaven.
