PHOTOS: 200 Burnt As Fuel Tanker Explodes In River State (VIEWER’S DISCRETION ADVISED)

More than 200 people who went to scoop up oil from an overturned oil tanker were burned to death on Thursday after the vehicle caught fire, the information commissioner in Rivers state said.

  9. Sad and tragic! Endemic porverty and illiteracy responsible for the urgly development. But on a more cursory look, I think
    blames ought to be heaped on the door steps of the govt for failling 2 address some of these societal challenges. I believe if our roads were working, there would not have been any accident. Again, other nations of the world use rail transport to covey petroleum products, I wonder why the Nigerian govt is yet to toe such part.
