Suicide bombers of the Islamist militant sect Boko Haram today attacked two police stations in Sokoto metropolis.
At first a suicide bomber driving a Golf Volkswagen car rigged with bombs to the gate of the Central Police station used the car to force the gate open and then drove directly to the main building housing the Assistant Inspector General of Police before detonating the car bomb.
The attacked affected the offices of the zonal command of the Nigerian police force at Marina killing a police officer and injuring several others.
Another bomber also bombed Unguwar Rogo Police station in the metropolis.

We have lost the value of life and as well the value for life. Just on Sunday on my way home, a man punched his son not older than 9years old in the face to the extent the boy fell inside a gutter even at that, the man still pursued after the boy to deal more blow on him. If a father can do this to his own blood what then do you expect him to do to others.

Must you always call the President? Why didn’t you call the Governor of Sokoto State? The President can’t be every where at the same time – that’s why we have governors and LGA chairmen. This is how you guys leave to address issues at the appropriate quarters. Don’t be decieved.
The President is the only chief security officer that has the power to control the military or the police force, the governors are merely ceremonial chief security officers and so why do we blame them when their hands are tied
