‘Naija Don Win’ by BIG SMILe has emerged the winner on the 26th of July, 2012, after weeks of voting based on the airplay the three songs received on all FRCN radio stations nationwide.
On Saturday, the 28th of July, 2012, the NOC formally congratulated BIG SMILe that they won the Olympics Theme Song Contest.
Six months ago the Nigeria Olympics Committee called for song submissions for entry into the Olympics Theme Song Contest. Several songs were received from various musicians and after various stages of scrutiny, 3 songs were short listed for radio vote.
The chairman marketing committee of the NOC has returned from London to give a press conference on it today, the 30th of July, and to push it into all NOC network at home and in London.
