John Ola Shittu, who represents Yobo, told MTNFootball.com that a transfer fee has been agreed between Everton and Fenerbahce that will see the Nigeria international defender join the top Turkish club on a permanent basis after spending two seasons on loan there.
“The imbroglio is over on Yobo’s future as far as club football is concerned. A fee has been agreed by Everton and Fenerbahce for his permanent transfer to the Turkish team,” Shittu told MTNFootball.com
Shittu also disclosed that every other thing surrounding the transfer will be concluded over the weekend.
“Now that a transfer fee has been agreed by both clubs, the transfer will be finalised this weekend and the deal concluded,” he further revealed.
Last season, Yobo won the Turkish Cup with Fenerbahce and he has made it very clear he is very much at home in Istanbul after his loan spells there.
Yobo, who incidentally was manager David Moyes’ first signing for Everton, has fallen down the pecking order at the Liverpool club.
