"Olori Wuraola is free now" - Ooni of Ife says as he allegedly accepts bride price refund
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has reportedly accepted a bride price refund from the family of his former Olori, Wuraola.
It was exclusively reportedly by Kemiashefonlovehaven.com.
According to KFLH, the coast seems clear now for the former queen to remarry if she wishes.
This is because the customary bride price paid by the revered monarch has reportedly been returned fully from the elders of Queen Zynab’s family in Benin City, Nigeria.
A source in Benin told KFLH that the monarch was initially reluctant to collect the bride price, but was persuaded by the elders as a way of closing the controversial marriage and separation.
“She’s free now, she’s free…,” the Ooni was quoted to have exclaimed afterwards.
The Ooni got married to Ms. Olori at an elaborate society traditional marriage held in Benin, the Edo State capital, on March 16, 2016.
The Olori in August revealed that the marriage has ended.
There had been previous reports that the marriage to the Ooni was in crisis, and her revelation finally confirmed those reports.
Ms. Olori released an official statement on her marital status via Instagram on her official page @hhzynab.
