Photos of youths reading Quran in red and white attires spark controversy (PHOTOS)
Photographs of some youths reading the Holy Quran all dressed in red and white garments have gone viral on social media and sparked controversy.
Idris Ahmed, a political analyst and the founder of CUPS, raised an alarm on Facebook over the trending photos.
Their dress code is reportedly the official attire of former Kano governor Kwankwaso's supporters.
The gathering reportedly happened at Ibadan, Oyo state, not in Kano as stated by the analyst.
Dauda Garba Kauran Wali first shared the picture with the caption: “Anya wannan harkan Kwankwasiya akwai lafiya Nura Usman Arewa Queen wannan harka taku tana bani tsoro fa karfa ache maganar MAHAHA gaskiyache fa.”
