Osinbajo inaugurates 300m litres capacity tank farm in Ogun, first of its kind in sub-saharan Africa
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo today commissioned a first of its kind in the sub-saharan Africa, the 300million litre tank farm sited at Ibefun in Ogun State and owned by the Petrolex Oil and Gas Limited.
This newly built ultra modern tank farm, has the capacity to turnover 600 million litres of petroleum products every month, enabling products to be stored and distributed effectively and more efficiently, for better services and higher turnover.
The event was graced by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, represented by Senator Dino Melaye, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, represented his Deputy, Hon. Agboola Ajayi, Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, Oyo, Abiola Ajimobi, Benue, Ortom former Governor Olusegun Mimiko.
Others were Minister of state for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, Group Managing Director NNPC, Maikanti Baru, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Segun Adebutu, CEO and Chairman Petrolex, Chief Adebutu, the traditional ruler of Ibefun, Oba Victor Adeboye among others.
