PHOTOS: Rivers United players prostrate to beg Governor Wike during protest over unpaid 2014 salary
Rivers United players on Tuesday shunned training to stage a protest at the Government House in Port Harcourt over the non-payment of their salary arrears from 2014.
The players are still being owed salary arrears from 2014 when they were still Sharks and Dolphins under the former government.
Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike reportedly approved the payment six months ago but the money is yet to be paid.
Below are pictures of the protest and moment the players prostrated to beg the Governor and apologize for the trouble.
