US Consular General and his team visit The White Man graveyard in Bayelsa (PHOTOS)

The United States Consul General, F. John Bray, and his entourage paid a visit to The White Man graveyard located in Akassa, during a tour to tourism sites in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa state.

They inspected the graveyard and expressed satisfaction.

The white man’s graveyard is a cemetery containing the graves of Europeans who died in the Akassa Raid of 1885. The graveyard tells a vivid story of the raid and its bloody aftermath.

It is a memorial park for the colonial masters who passed away in the century.
